Luca Ferrario · Lombardy, Italy

Designer, developer, and athlete.

I make things that look, feel and behave with intent. They call it corporate minimalism. I call it cold. I design for feeling, sentiment and love - the Banksy of Design.

Look, feel, behave. The three things a thing is judged on, and the only three I care about getting right.

nite

Sleep & habit platform

Sleep, treated like something worth feeling.

An award-winning platform for sleep quality and habit tracking. nite reads the small signals of a night and turns them into a gentle, honest picture of how you actually rest, so the change you make tomorrow feels earned, not nagged. The mission is simple: help people live a little better by sleeping a little better.

Unlock

Design & development

Taking the friction out of getting in.

A design-and-build project about access, the moment a thing finally opens for you. Unlock pairs a precise, considered interface with the kind of warmth that makes a first use feel like a welcome rather than a wall. Built end to end, from the idea to the working thing.

Chapters

Design & development

Software that remembers it is for people.

Chapters is a study in narrative interface: structuring information the way a story unfolds, one chapter at a time, so progress feels like turning a page rather than filling a form. A design and development exercise in pacing, rhythm and the quiet pleasure of moving forward.

/ About

A technical head and a sentimental hand.

I started in code. At ITI Marconi I studied computer science and finished with a perfect 100/100 - the kind of grade you get by actually loving the machine, not just passing it.

Then I went looking for the part that engineering kept leaving out: how a thing makes you feel. I’m now studying Product Design at LABA Brescia, chasing human-centred innovation - the belief that the best products are built for the person, not the pitch deck.

That mix is the whole point. I can build the thing and I can make you care about it. Most of the industry treats those as separate jobs. I think the seam between them is exactly where the good work lives.

/ Off the clock

The hands stay busy. It all feeds the work.

Video

Freelance video technician

On set and behind the desk, making the signal hold and the picture land. The craft of getting a feeling onto a screen, cleanly.

Print

3D printing

Designing physical objects, watching a file become something you can hold. The closest thing to printing an idea straight out of your head.

Body

Fitness

Training as a design discipline: small inputs, compounding over time, no shortcut to the result. Discipline you can feel.

Build

Startups

Drawn to the zero-to-one moment, when taste, code and nerve decide whether a thing exists. Building products people can love.
